Pastor Marcus Thomas, Sr. is the second born of four children to Deacon Emanuel Thomas, Jr. and Sister Willie Mae Thomas. He grew up on the south side of Chicago, Illinois and attended the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church also located in Chicago, Illinois under the leadership of Pastor Moses Fuller.  Pleasant Hill M.B.C. is also where Pastor Thomas accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age.

While growing up in the Thomas household everyone went to church every Sunday without fail. This discipline, by his parents, led Pastor Thomas and his siblings to participate in numerous church and youth group activities which included The Sunshine Band, Red Circle, Vacation Bible School, Little Angel’s Choir, young adult choir; and the junior deacon board.

As a teenager, Pastor Thomas had the opportunity to be a youth leader which led to countless scriptures and guidance that he continued to receive and share with church leaders, peers and neighborhood youths.

As Gods divine plan continues to unfold, and during his educational tenure at Simeon Vocational High School, Pastor Thomas began to notice something would just not allow him to do some of the things others were doing.  Even if he tried, the anointing of God would always remind him that he had another plan for his life. He studied industrial engineering at Triton College and is currently an employee at Chicago Public Schools as a Records Coordinator; and has been for over 19 years.

Pastor Thomas believes and knows that these experiences, along with the anointed Godly guidance and spiritual impartation from great men and women, has helped shape and mold him as a young man of valor and has prepared him for the work God himself has preordained.

Pastor Thomas met the love of his life, Alice Thomas, while serving at Pleasant Hill M.B.C. and they united in marriage in 1988. God blessed this union with three children (Tarail Sr, Marcus Jr. and Octavia, 10 grandchildren). In 1990, the Lord called Pastor Thomas and his wife to work and serve at Mission of Love Evangelistic Full Gospel Center located in Harvey, Illinois under the leadership of Overseer Apostle Joe Pitts and his wife, Pastor Allie Pitts.

In 2005, both Pastor Thomas (office of a Teacher) and his wife, Alice Thomas (office of a Prophet) were ordained together. Pastor Thomas has served as an associate pastor, conference leader, counselor, youth coordinator, Deacon, Sunday school superintendent, and trustee.

In July of 2013, Senior Pastor Marcus L. Thomas founded and was installed as Senior Pastor of All Truth Ministries.

Pastor Thomas believes that God has given him a strong anointing to teach His word with simplicity, while using examples of today’s life experiences combined with the continuity of obedience by the leading of the Holy Spirit that causes him to answer to the calling of being an Ambassador for Christ; and continues to make his tongue a ready writer as he   impart the Gospel of the Kingdom of God to the ears that are ready to hear what the Spirit of the Lord has to say to the church.
